Apple Picking

Design an apple?

Today me and my girlfriend had the pleasure of waking up early to go apple picking. There were so many apples to choose, different types, tastes and designs……made me wonder of their design.

Through research I found out that apples were actually domesticated and breed to the taste and shape people wanted. Cultivated apples have been selectively bred over centuries for large size fruit. Undomesticated apples like wild apples and crab-apples are very different, and tend to be less spherical, less symmetrical and very small.
